The Shiawase no Kaori: Chiyo Uno collection incense is part of Nippon Kodo’s Premium Quality range of incense.

This ‘Fragrance of happiness’ collection was specially made to celebrate the Japanese writer and kimono designer, Chiyo Uno. Her favourite time of year was springtime, when the cherry blossom trees were in bloom, so the incense is fragranced with the gorgeous scent of cherry blossoms, or sakura.

Quality Range by Nippon Kodo

NIPPON KODO
trace their origin back over 400 years to an incense maker known as Koju, who made incense for the Emperor of Japan. The Nippon Kodo Group was established in August 1965, merging incense companies from around the world.

Packaging

This lovely set of 36 short incense sticks comes beautifully presented in a printed paper-covered Paulownia wood box, which is made to represent a small bound book. As well as the incense sticks, there’s a ceramic incense stick holder included.

Pease note: the number of sticks and burn-time are approximate. Incense is often packed by weight and not the number of sticks.
