The trees are associated with luck and longevity and woodcuts depicting the old Edo-era frequently feature illustrations of pine trees, where they lined the roads, keeping watch and protecting travellers.

Oedo-Koh Incense Range by Nippon Kodo

NIPPON KODO
trace their origin back over 400 years to an incense maker known as Koju, who made incense for the Emperor of Japan. The Nippon Kodo Group was established in August 1965, merging incense companies from around the world.

Packaging

The Oedo-Koh incense range is beautifully packaged, and perfect for gifting. The incense is boxed in a paulownia wood box, with a stylish design-led printed sleeve. It includes a silver coloured incense holder to burn the incense.
