Shimizu Buddhist Sutra: the overlapping sounds of sutra chanting that brings about profound meditation. A deep and elegant scent  with benzoin, ambergris and sandalwood.
Bonsho on the Equinox: the sound of a temple bell reverberating with a quiet, lingering sound at beautiful dusk. It is a deep scent of agarwood and musk.

Founded in 1994, Kousaido is a modern Japanese incense manufacturer based in Kyoto, Japan. They have become known for their high quality, organic incense. They create modern fragrances using natural ingredients. Great care is taken in all aspects of production, presentation and packaging.

Packaging

Eight rolls of incense are wrapped in colourful printed paper. These are packed into a solid wood paulownia box, which is protected by a carboard cover. This is perfect for gifting.

Pease note: the number of sticks and burn-time are approximate. Incense is often packed by weight and not the number of sticks.
