Kyara Momoyama Premium Aloeswood incense is a very high quality incense product made by Japan-based Nippon Kodo.

Kyara, or aloeswood, is a highly sought-after aromatic wood created by nature. The aloeswood used in this product is sourced from a rare Vietnamese wood and has a rich fragrance with an added sweetness (it is sweeter, for example, then Kyara Taikan incense).

Skilled craftsmen carefully make these Kyara Momoyama incense sticks by carefully grinding the aloeswood a little at a time using traditional techniques. The packaging reflects the Premium Quality of this incense products, with the 36 short sticks presented in wooden Paulownia box bound with decorative Japanese fabric to form the appearance of a book. The incense set comes complete with a small ceramic incense holder.

NIPPON KODO
trace their origin back over 400 years to an incense maker known as Koju, who made incense for the Emperor of Japan. The Nippon Kodo Group was established in August 1965, merging incense companies from around the world.

Packaging

This lovely set of 36 short incense sticks comes beautifully presented in a fabric-covered Paulownia wood box that gives the impression of being a bound book. The lid opens up to reveal the incense sticks, plus a ceramic incense stick holder. It makes an ideal gift set.
